This site collects only the minimum information needed to operate. Pickuma is operated by Owen (Pickuma), and you can reach us about anything on this page at hello@pickuma.com.

Click tracking

Affiliate clicks through /go/{tool-slug} are recorded for attribution. We log a privacy-preserving hash of your user agent and IP (SHA-256, not reversible), the slug clicked, country (from your network edge), and timestamp. We do not store the raw IP or user agent.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (Measurement ID G-PSX94XEJ49) to understand aggregate traffic patterns. IP addresses are anonymized via the anonymize_ip setting before processing. Google Analytics sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*) to distinguish unique visitors and sessions. We do not enable Google Signals, ad personalization, or remarketing features.

If you wish to opt out, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or block third-party cookies in your browser settings.

Error monitoring

When a page script fails, a crash report (browser, page URL, stack trace) is sent to Sentry so we can fix it. We also run Cloudflare Web Analytics, which measures page performance without cookies. Neither is used to build a profile of you.

Email addresses you submit via the newsletter form are stored by our newsletter provider (Beehiiv) and used only to send the newsletter you subscribed to. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.

Affiliate networks

When you click an affiliate link, the destination site may set its own cookies for attribution. We have no control over those cookies — please consult each merchant's privacy policy.

Advertising

Some pages on this site display ads served by third-party ad networks (Google AdSense and similar). These networks use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on visits to this and other sites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to our sites and other sites on the Internet.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising via aboutads.info.

Consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland)

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, advertising and analytics storage start in a denied state and nothing is written to your device for those purposes until you make a choice in the consent dialog. That choice is passed to Google via Consent Mode v2. You can change or withdraw it at any time by reopening the consent dialog from the privacy settings link in the footer, or by clearing this site's cookies.

Children

This site is written for a professional audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, and we do not request personalized advertising for visitors Google identifies as children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email hello@pickuma.com and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold about you, to object to processing, or to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. In practice the only identifiable data we hold is your newsletter email address. Email hello@pickuma.com and we will action the request within 30 days. Click-tracking hashes are retained for 24 months and analytics data for 14 months, after which both expire automatically.
